Following a petition to the Ghana Pharmacy Council and several follow up meetings and discussions for the reduction of the 3 month rotation requirement for U.S. (foreign) trained pharmacists, we have been reliably informed that our request has been approved and modified to 3 WEEKS ROTATION & 1 WEEK EXAMS PREPARATION, effective July 2018.
A formal notification of the change is yet to be received by GPhA leadership, however the basic requirements to take advantage of this provision are as follows:
- Be a Registered Member of GPhA in good standing
- Possess a Minimum of 2 years pharmacist work experience in the US
- Hold an Active US Registered Pharmacist License
